Not sure you picked a good Realtor? 3 things to think about...

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Results

When making large buying or selling decisions, and a peice of real estate is most certainly one of those! It is vitally important that you choose a Realtor, that not only has experience, but also puts you at ease. Here are a few thoughts to help that process?

1. Does this agent have a strong grasp of the current marketplace, in regards to available mortgage products, financing options, and localized trends.

2. Is this agent "real" on more than a business level. & Do they invest in the community, so they have some "street knowledge" (Is this agent active in the community: i.e. Church, Parent Boards, Sports, or even Community Service)

3. Are they a good listener? How do you feel when they are talking with you? Do you feel heard or do you feel like they are talking down to you, more interested in making a payday or not paying attention to your real needs.

Here is the point, ladies and gentlemen - If you are uncomfortable at the beginning of the process with who you are working with, you will most likely be much more uncomfortable by the end of the process.

So choose your Realtor carefully, whether you buying or selling a small condominium, your move up home, or a monster home on the lake! - You deserve the best, as YOU are the boss!
