Nina, Ah, flea markets. I like to look through all the used junk looking for a pearl, buit so many of these places just have crap like Walmart or Target. I don't need that.

Bill Roberts -- I agree for the most part, but I do like checking out the food offerings. Of course, after living in Paris and doing the flea markets there, I'm spoiled for anywhere else. But you have no idea how packed these are in Charlotte every weekend.

Nina I enjoy going to flea markets when I am in an area that has them, but unfortunately we don't have any around me.  May be that is why I like going to them when I am visiting friends.

Hi Nina Hollander , It's a good thing I'm up here in Indiana.  I would always be at the flea markets if I were in NC.

Many of our flea markets have closed their doors, but I remember going to the outdoor ones and looking at the specialities the vendors were selling.

Conrad Allen -- fortunately, we have a bit of a different climate here in Charlotte than you do in MA and these provide indoor shopping as well.

Larry Johnston -- are you saying you don't have any good flea markets in your area or just that they are closed for the cold winter months?

George Souto -- flea markets can be fun to browse around. I used to love going to the one in Paris just as a Sunday afternoon outing.

Those are some fancy names for flea market, I like the name Queen Bee...

I use to attend the Austin flea markets and loved all the wonderful treasures awaiting me. Charlotte certainly has plenty of market to choose from.

Bob Ratliff -- Charlotte is know as the Queen City because it was named after Queen Charlotte. Hence that fancy name of Queen Bee!
