Cranford, NJ Named One of the State's Safest Towns
In a recent article at ValuePenguin.com (a site devoted to personal finance research and analysis), Cranford, New Jersey was named the 8th safest mid-sized city in all of the state. For those of us who live there, this is not a surprise.
Cranford, NJ is a community of neighbors, always looking out for each other. It's size and layout make for the perfect suburban experience. Homes in Cranford, NJ are not so far away from each other that you don't know your neighbors, which really promotes a feeling of community. And with a vibrant downtown area, people see and connect with each other. And when there is a sense of community, there is also safety.
Kids are regularly seen walking or biking around town, meeting at the local pizza place for lunch or grabbing a snack after school. After little league games or school events, people regularly gather for an ice cream at the local Dairy Queen. Norman Rockwell, eat your heart out!
