This is something I put together a while ago, but I thought you might enjoy it now.
Lately, I have been reading and hearing a lot of "I should have....", "I could have....", and "I would have...".
This is just plain sorry language. Why? Because the thinking means the person is "stuck" pyschologically speaking.
Instead of all those excuses, start the day with I will, I can and I must.
Make a list the night before if you need to. I frankly don't know what I would do without my list.
Getting things scratched off gives you a great feeling of accomplishment and assuages the guilt you might feel if you take a day to play.
I really enjoy looking at the items on the list I have accomplished during the day. And, you likely will, too.
Run away from the people with "I should have....", "I could have....", and "I would have..." in their vocabularies, especially if they are always saying such things.
Surround yourself instead with "doers". People who can tackle problems and situations head-on and make you feel more capable, too.
That is the advice of the day.
Best, Ron
