National Organize Your Home Day
January seemed to be the month to organize your home and office. Here are a few tips to get yourself organized "one week at a time".

- Spend 15 minutes the first week cleaning out that messy drawer you have been meaning to clean all year. Get out of the habit of just hiding stuff in a drawer.
- Spend 1 hour a week cleaning out your bedroom closet and drawers. Toss old clothing, shoes, and accessories that you have not worn in over a year. If these items are in good condition, donate to a thrift store or give to someone you know that could wear them and is financially strapped.
- Clear off sundries from your bathroom vanity and either hang up a wall organizer or buy some under the counter organizers to put your stuff in. Many you can lift out and use, then put back under the sink daily to give the room a neater appearance.
- Find some shelf organizer kits at your local home improvement store. Some of these kits can be hung within a hour and give your closet a nice, neat look. Doing this will probably help to get rid of those clothes you haven't worn for a long time or bought at a sale and still have the tags hanging on them after a year! Are you really going to wear these items?
