So I went to dinner at a local restaurant last night, and I tend to check prices so I can get a good deal and keep my expenses low - like my clients I believe in value - and with 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and a tip I spent $52.00, and I was done in about 2 hours.
Sounds like a decent price, yes? Today I am putting a proposal together for a property owner and his cost for professional property management for a month per unit is less than the cost of my dinner!
So for the cost of what I consumed in about 2 hours they will get full service for a month including rent collection, property inspections, dealing with the tenant, 24 hour emergency phone call answering, monthly expense reports, questions and answers with staff, full screening/showing//advertising if the unit is vacant, and repair handling.
So doesn't it seem to be a good value for a property manager?
