They are truly spectacular! I try to drive by often when out showing homes or running errands since the beauty only lasts a few weeks. It's also fun to point them out to visitors or otheres who have never seen them
Jeff
I love bright, colorful flowers. I would take advantage of the free vantage point.
Well, I have never heard of a sweet pea maze, nor a Zydeco day at a flower field! Wow! Those colors are amazing, Jeff. Thanks for the day brightener!
Tammie - and I do so often
Ron - thanks for coming to visit! Yep it's a pretty interesting place. Geuss they figure the flowers are not always enough so they have added all these events. The places gets pretty crowded some days. And with the Mall right there you can spend a whole day - flowers, shopping, and dining

The flower fields in Carlsbad is so beautiful Jeff. Thanks for sharing, have a great day!
Jeff, nice video of Carlsbad flower fields. I agree, the best view is from Armada Drive and I wouldn't have known until reading your post! Thanks,
Thanks, Suzanne - to you as well. And I agree about the flowers, although of course we have them all year round but not that vibrant
Patty - they are every bit as beautiful, or better, than my pics
Pamela - it IS the place to see them IMO. AND I love that I can stop by ANYTIME and enjoy the views looking out over the fields AND the ocean
Jeff
Jeff Dowler CRS those flowers are beautiful. How long does the display last?
Sybil
They are open this year until May 10. The flowers will bloom some beyond that, viewable from some of the adjacent roads
Jeff
Hi Jeff, When I first saw these flower fields, I was just amazed. The field was much larger then because you see them from the highway. But my thoughts were that people that have never been to California would have equally amazed at the beauty. It reminded me of Holland and the many tulip fields. That was before I got interested in taking photos of course, :-)
Jeff,
I love the show of the fields, it is magnificent. We have a few fields like that here, and they are very enjoyable. A
