Welcome to the ongoing weekly series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our twenty-ninth week! Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
" to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
(Be sure and click on the links in blue.)
Today it's Hawaii!!!! Woo hoo!
Georgie Hunter is who I always think of first when wandering off to Hawaii in my dreams. This beach in Kihei, Maui is one of the many splendors that I've actually had the opportunity to enjoy. My husband and I got married right near here in 2000 after spending a glorious vacation together here the year before in Wailea, nearby.
Georgie always delivers visual goodies with each blogpost and here is just one more quick photo from a resort in Wailea, HI. (Of course, there are MANY resorts to be found in Hawaii!)
I had to give a shout-out to Celeste "Sally" Cheeseman, because she is a long-standing ActiveRain Ambassador who spreads Hawaiin love to all of us!
Kimo Stowell is a newer blogger on ActiveRain and he shows us one of the traditions of Hawaii--surfing--with a twist O'ahu style!
I'm adding another piece to this....my friends whom I just sold their Fishhawk Lake home in September of last year have been in Hawaii for the last month.
This whale watching video is short, but absolutely AMAZING!!
Please don't forget to comment on these blogposts and I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels. Feel free to join our group:
