The peak season starts about mid January and runs through mid April where we achieve almost 90- 100% occupancy. If your place on the beach is not booked there is something wrong. The last few years of weather have really improved our business "climate"

Mark, considering what a harsh winter people up north experienced, I'll bet every vacation rental was rented with few, if any, empties for more than a few days! On another note, having read your 2013 resolution, have you been able to make the jump into investment property sales?

Leanne, Thanks for the response and good question! It has been a great season here and you are correct that we are at 100% occupancy. Is the same true in your area? Most recently I have become the Office Manager here at Sun Vista Realty. I am responsible for annual and seasonal rentals. It helps round the knowledge required towards the goal. I am still waiting for the chance to jump into the sales arena.
