Randy the new lower MIP does open the door for more FHA homeowners to refi, especially with a Streamline Refi which does not need an appraisal or verification of income.

Good morning Randy. The lower mortgage insurance will definitely help. Have a number of appointments scheduled for FHA streamline refinances.

Great seeing you at the meet up.

Make it a great weekend.

Hi Randy: This is very informative. I deal mainly with first-time home buyers and the change in MIP will help them immensely.

Thanks for posting.

I hope this information is of benefit Roy Kelley  -  We got our share of rain and snow today as well and it started to snow lightly again just a short while ago.  What a mess of a day!

Thanks for sharing, Roy.

The steamline refi through FHA for an existing FHA loan is really quite attractive in my opinion, and with the added benefit of lowering the MIP that the borrower is paying makes it a slam dunk George Souto

The combination of the lower rates (at least for the time being) and the new products and revised loan products should get the year off to a good start I would think Debbie Gartner and with any luck the trends will continue.

FHA is trying hard to get its act together with the help of the President Conrad Allen - FHA is in a much more competitive position than it has been for about 5 years.  There is still hope!

The streamline refi through FHA is a good program and more people need to be aware of the program and the fact that they can lower their MIP Joe Petrowsky - hope you are able to get people through the program into a much better position.

Thanks for sharing.

It is certainly an option that needs a more close look than previously, especially for first time buyers Maria Gilda Racelis
