The Popovich Comedy Pet Theater will be in Orange Park FL for one show only, on Saturday, January 24th at 7:00 PM at the Thrasher Horne Center for the Arts.
If you love comedy and animals, you won't want to miss this performance, which is particularly suitable and enjoyable for children as well as adults.
There are 15 cats, 10 dogs, four geese, eight white doves and two parrots who make up the cast, along with the famous Mr. Popovich. These animals were all strays and were rescued from animal shelters. It is interesting to me that the top number of performers are cats - you know the animals famous for the saying, "Dogs have masters, cats have staff." It is worth the price of a ticket just to see these 15 cats perform and obey - apparently these cats do have a master!
In 2009, the Circus Fans Association of America honored the Popovich Comedy Pet Theater with its Entertainer of the Year award for his, "unique and most enjoyable performance." In addition, Mr Popovich and his pets have been featured on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with David Letterman, and as a finalist on America's Got Talent.
