The New Omni Resort La Costa in Carlsbad CA
The La Costa Resort and Spa has been an icon of the South Carlsbad area, if not Southern California, for decades.
The La Costa Resort operated one of the earliest full service spas in the US, with an international reputation, built as part of the original golf course and including a hotel back in the 1960s, and which gives this area of Carlsbad its name.
Indeed, those who live in the area still call it La Costa, even though the original community of La Costa was annexed by, and became part of, Carlsbad some time ago.
