Serendipity Sunday – No Football

 

Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not a complete raving lunatic about football, but I do love watching the games.

 

And, despite all the controversy this week, I am going to miss not watching a game this Sunday. 

 

Vikings games are my favorites, of course, but they rarely get into the playoffs, and if they do, they usually crush my hopes.

 

This season’s playoff games were, for the most part, pretty exciting with great matchups.

 

Waiting for Super Bowl….that over-hyped, over-commercialized game is all I have left.

 

But, don’t pity me….it is nearly 40 degrees out and I have more birdhouses to build.

Ron, you had some great Vikings teams in the past and I always liked your Vikings team in the 1969 season with Alan Page, Jim Marshall, and Joe Kapp at quarterback.  There was never a tougher quarterback in the NFL and he is the only one I have ever seen successfully hurdle a tackler!  Hope you got lots of birdhouses built today with the 40 degree weather and no football games to watch!

Bliz, we all do what we have to do.  And, I love to watch football. Now Bill Feela is trying to get me into a baseball fantasy league.  I really don't follow that much.
