Footprints in the Snow

This morning we can see our Footprints in the Snow. Very different from what we had anticipated due to the Blizzard of 2015. We got Lucky - it missed us. We had anticipated having to shovel away several inches before we could see our Footprints in the Snow.


Two Local News Stations were forecasting very different weather scenarios for this Blizzard in our area. One anticipated a Trace to 2 inches and the other anticipated 1-2 FEET of snow. We're very glad the Trace to 2 inches was the correct one.  We all realize that dependent upon the "winds" and the flow of the "fronts" weather can be very hard to predict.  Always be prepared for the worst, just in case.

My Girls, Abby and Lexie, were like "Where's the Snow Mom?"  They were hoping for several inches to romp and play in.  Too funny. I could just see the look on their faces.

For those of you who are getting too much snow yesterday, today and into tomorrow, Please Be Careful! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bobbie, I remember when I lived in Chicago during the blizzard of 1967, 4" of snow was predicted, but we got 27" instead...that was a challenge!

Balmy 60's here today and a drop of at least 20 degrees by the weekend with the possibility of a few snow flakes.  Not likely but it sure is a turnaround

It is shocking we got missed Will but we are so glad we did.

Blizzards are expensive - snow removal, missed work, etc. etc.

Thanks Alexandra. We are very glad as well although these frigid temperatures could have missed us too. Oh well, having one is better than having them both.

It is Anita. With a windchill of below zero it is frigid and every part of the house just creaks when it is that cold and the wind blows. Brrrr.

Oh Boy. That much snow is a challenge. A Big challenge. Especially as I get older and can do less and less. Bet you do not miss it.

Thanks Gabe. Many areas got spared and we fill really bad for those areas that did not. 2-3' of snow is not fun.
