Not your every day Jaywalker! Unless you are in Sandpoint Idaho

I must admit this is not your everyday sighting even in Sandpoint Idaho.  I am betting we see it much more frequently than most anywhere else.  Do keep in mind this is not on the far reaches of town.  Highway 2 and Division near the Sandpoint High School  and Civic Center.

Sandpoint Idaho Moose downtown

And with closer inspection of picture I believe no Jaywalking is involved and moving on green light.

Hello Debbie Laity .  We will see them from on occasion.  Don't know what brings them in.  As you can see though cars tend to give them the right of way.  lol

Women of Westchester Working Together there is something special about seening a magnificent beast,  even more so when out ot context.  Mark

Mark, this is something we would never see here. I have seen geese and deer crossing the road, but never a moose.

Rebecca Gaujot, the GO TO REALTOR yes a rather unique sight.  This is a great shot too in that with the car so near you can see just how HUGE these guys are.

William Feela I can assure you it would be us running, and for good reason, if one of these monsters started in our direction, even if in a car.  Check the hind it compared to the top of the car.

Thank you both for stopping by to say hello.  Mark

Mark, this big fellow is certaily not your average Jaywalker!  Here we have ducklings following their mom's across major traffic arteries, usually during rush hour!

Good Evening Sharon Paxson  .  We see them from time to time and some on a regular course.  This one seemed to gotten a bit off track.  No harm in everyone lets them be.  Mark

Patricia Kennedy I imagine they are just as much a traffic stopper as this guy although for different reasons.   Mark
