Looking back on last year, it's always interesting and fun to take a look at the extremes for size and price in our Fort Collins real estate market. Here are the homes that set the limits for 2014:
Most Expensive
Topping the list was 6343 Rookery Rd., located in the very desirable Fossil Lake neighborhood in Fort Collins. It sold for an even $2,000,000. This gorgeous 10,375 sq.ft. 2 story home offered 4 bedrooms, 5 baths, a 4-car garage, with lots of extras and high-end finishes, and water and mountain views, on .85 acres.
Least Expensive
Setting aside mobile, manufactured and modular homes, the least expensive home sold in the Fort Collins area was 468 Elk Horn Trail in Bellvue, which closed for $97,500. This 1,296 sq.ft. cabin located in Buckhorn Canyon, sits on 4 acres of wooded land. It isn't quite finished, and has 2 bedrooms, no bath and no utilities at the present time.
Largest
The biggest home sold last year was 200 Gregory Rd. in Fort Collins, topping the charts at a whopping 13,199 sq.ft.
