Are You in Nashville's 615?
Remember that Seinfeld episode where Elaine has to get a new area code and doesn’t want to?
Well… Middle Tennessee is about to get a new area code! Apparently after the second quarter of 2015 it will no longer be possible to get a phone number with Nashville’s traditional 615 area code.
Nashville and Middle Tennessee’s newest area code is 629. Starting on February 28, 2015, everyone in the 615 and 629 area code will have to dial the area code and the number to complete a phone call.
Goodbye seven digits!
