Are You Bugged by Spam? Are You Getting “Interesting” Unsolicited Messages? Read on….
I happen to get quite a bit of pharmaceutical advice. And, I am sure that no matter what your gender, you do, too.
I decided that I had had enough. So, I checked with some local sources and some internet sources to avoid some of this barrage of junk mail.
Here is some of what I learned.
The Federal Trade Commission says that you can actually STOP getting emails by making some simple changes.
You can put "extra" words in any place that asks for an email address such as johndoe@spamaway.myisp.com. This is called masking. Some people will find you anyway.
If you frequent "chat rooms", use a separate name that is not associated with your primary email address. I know that you can have several accounts in any number of providers. And, don't go getting the wrong idea, I have only one LOG-IN Name. LOL....
Set Up Disposable Addresses
Decide if you want to use two email addresses - one for personal messages and one for posting in public. Consider using a disposable email address service that creates separate email addresses that forwards to your permanent account. If one of the disposable addresses begins to receive spam, you can shut it off without affecting your permanent address.
Use Two Email Accounts
If you work for a business or organization that wants to receive email from the public, consider creating separate accounts or disposable email addresses for that purpose, rather than having an employee's address posted in public.
This can be tricky, but so are the spammers...try to use a unique Email address, containing both letters and numbers....your choice of email address may affect the amount of spam you receive because some spammers use "dictionary attacks" to email many possible name combinations at large ISPs or email services, hoping to find a valid address.

And, good luck with the Enhancements and the Million $$$$ Lottery You Just Won!
Hope this helps protect you from unwanted visitors…
Best, Ron
