Getting married? Have an anniversary party or other big event in 2015? Come see what downtown Milledgeville has to offer! Milledgeville Main Street/DDA and the downtown businesses have teamed up to host the first Strolling Bridal and Event Showcase in downtown Milledgeville. The Strolling event showcase will be held on March 7th from 11am-4pm. 
Many of the downtown merchants will have displays in and outside of their businesses with information about their service offerings for weddings and events. Downtown Milledgeville has a wide variety of Catering, Florists, Vintage Décor Rental, Salon Services, Jewelry and Gifts, Clothing, Tuxedo Rentals, Bakery’s, and more. It will be everything a girl needs to have that dream wedding except the groom. You're on your own for that.
Businesses will also have giveaways, discounts, and tasting available throughout the day. Hopefully my daughter will be free.  And although she may not be planning a wedding this year a mom can be hopeful right?

The event is FREE! And free is a very good price if you are planning a wedding.

Sybil Campbell lets the vendors stay in their shops instead of going to the convention center, I think it's a wonderful concept.  And other local businesses benefit too because everyone will stop somewhere for lunch

Wayne- wedding can get pricey, but he bakery on the list is where I got my wedding cake, beautiful and super reasonable

Andrew- I'm guessing downtown will be very full that day.

Nina- exactly why I want my daughter to go.  I love to look

Debbie- I think so too.  And I love the idea of moving it to downtown inside the local shops and not at the centenial center.
