Because it is against our MLS rules that we can't use identifying photos of other listings, I did call the listing agent to ask if I could use this photo. Surprisingly, he asked that he NOT be named as the listing agent - I wonder why?
I thought I'd seen it all but this one topped just about everything I've seen. Me - I'm off for a shower!!!! Just when you think you've seen it all.............

It's sad really that individuals would choose to live in those types of conditions when it's completely avoidable. I understand people come upon hard times but cleaning your house and keeping your living conditions respectable doesn't cost anything but your time.
I'm loving the comments from the stagers and builders here. While we're all itching from other things, I bet you're itching to see just what you could do with this one, LOL.
Oh, and yes, this is in a multiple offer situation from 6 different investors. This area is in the process of several tear downs and new builds so homes like these are not atypical, unfortunately.

Well, I agree with the other posters. It is far better than the altered pics we sometimes see and then BAM you walk in and wonder if you are in the same house.

I've had a few like this, and they were in much worse condition after the pipes broke and flooded the house. My photos included mold the size of basketballs, and the short sale bank still demanded the same value as the surrounding remodeled homes.
I would much rather see that picture on the MLS then have the listing agent only show exterior pictures, and have to discover for myself how bad it is inside.
Now that's what I call a full disclosure photo! At least it prepares you before you get there, or saves you the trip! Chip and Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper on HGTV would probably love to get their hands on this 
Oh my. I have seen some doozies, but this one is up there near the top. What on earth was the agent thinking? I am surprised he allowed you to post it, recognition or not.
Juli, one thing you can say for that agent is that he believes in "truth in advertising"!!
