Vapiano - Charlotte, NC

Charlotte is a big banking town.  And when two of my good girl friends who are both in banking asked me to meet them for lunch uptown (That's what us locals call Charlotte's business district, not 'downtown') I jumped at the chance. There are so many great restaurants I haven't had the chance to try.  We went to a favorite lunch spot of both of theirs called Vapiano.  The set-up was really neat, perfect for busy working people who want great food, quick.  When you arrive you take a card and then grab a menu and after you choose, you get in the line for that item - pasta, salad, pizza line, etc.  When you order you swipe your card, grab a pager that the cook adds to your order and then wait. I ordered a barbeque chicken pizza which was excellent!  On our way out, we each took our card to the front to pay.  The experience at Vapiano was quick and seemless with great tasting food.
