There is "WAZE" to Out Smart Traffic
Here is a handy little smart phone app I had not heard of till today. I heard od it because it has created an uproar in the police community in wake of the police shootings. I think it's a great app and am torn about the one small feature of the app that allows people (like you and me) report where a "speed trap" exists.
I was made aware of the app and controversy from a Linked In email. Here is a link to the story. Good points plus and minus. I think what is lost here is that the report a speed trap portion is not what the app is all about, it is only a small feature. Also lost in it is the ability for law enforcement to monitor the app and it's easy ability to just move to another nearby location.
