This is for real....

By
Industry Observer

I have to acknowledge that I have been a bit MIA lately. I apologize to my loyal readers! Things have been a bit hectic around my home as of late.

I attended the Fort Smith Board of Realtors luncheon today at the invitation of our own Ray Nellum.

I am not a licensed Realtor yet so it was nice to be a part of the lunch so I could see what goes on there. There were a lot of great points made about participation and the importance of supporting groups that lobby on behalf of Realtors.

I am becoming more aware of all the different aspects of being a Real Estate Agent and how you really have to be dedicated and treat this as your lifelong career. Too many people think they can just get a license and whala... sell houses!

There is so much to learn and if you are not careful, you could make a mistake that could cost you everything, or land you in jail. This is not a part time career or a hobby. This is for real.

After listening to the great speaker the Board brought in, I was even more motivated to be the best Realtor I can be. I am committing to learn all I can learn and to be a servant to my customers and to my fellow Realtors near and far.

This is just a note from me to the world..... Look out world... Susan Davis is on her way!

To your success and mine!

Susan

Good for you Susan. You will probable be a great realtor and be able to help your clients by your understanding of the mortgage market and how it works. It will be a good change for you to get out of the Mortgage Broker/Loan officer business and into the realty business.
