We all anticipated this favorable report on real estate sales in Steamboat from Land Title, given the level of activity we have seen recently and the word on the street. It is most definitely time to start thinking about real estate in Steamboat Springs and the surrounding areas if you are buying or selling! Buyers are clamoring for the condos and townhomes under $300,000 and we are seeing an increase of movement in the upper end properties in Steamboat and surrounding areas.
Melissa Gibson reports:
“December ended 2014 on a great note with $58.17M in Gross Sales and 121 transactions! Compared to last December, Gross Volume was up by +69.29% while transactions were up 10%. The December numbers helped end the year with just under $600M in Gross Sales and 1,360 transactions for 2014. That is the best Gross Volume total in Routt County since 2008! Compared to 2013, that equates to +18.79% in Gross Volume and +6.42% in number of transactions.

The time is now for Steamboat!!! Interest rates are insanely low, buyers are scooping up certain properties within days on the market and there is a substantial amount of new construction.
