Mount Trashmore in Evanston IL is paradise for kids on a day when school is canceled because of snow like today February 2 2015. I decided to go over there and be a reporter. It is really a blast. I remember going there as a kid and loving it. Who cares if you get soaking wet. Actually today is sunny and really not bad to be out even though it is about 15 degrees. Please enjoy this with me.
Give the kids a day off with an incline and some snow. They'll do the rest.

Noah, that sounds like a lot of fun! We didn't have snow days in Southern Califoria so I never got to experience anything like that. We did have a hill across from our home and my Dad us to put us in a cardboard box and we slid down it. It was probably 4 ft tall and we were very little, pre school and toddlers.
