Inventory of Homes For Sale at an All Time Low in Aurora CO

 

The number of ACTIVE single family homes for sale in Aurora Colorado is at an all time low of only 259 homes.  These homes range in price from $130,000 up to $1,250,000.  These numbers do not reflect condos or townhomes in Aurora CO.

 

As you can see from this historical chart, listings are way, way down.

Interest rates are still incredibly low with government loans in the 3’s and conventional loans in the 4’s.  FHA has reduced the monthly mortgage insurance making their loan more affordable.  Rents continue to rise at a very rapid pace. Buyers are in their cars looking for homes in Aurora CO, but the selection is dismally low. 

 

Many sellers wait until spring to list their homes in Aurora but the competition is much higher then.  As you can see, there is very little competition NOW.

Hi Dan - This is getting interesting. We're going to see a lot of upward pressure on prices. Clearly potential sellers are aware that, once they become buyers, they're going to be facing this, and we haven't had quite enough price increase yet to provide sufficient incentive.
