Plant a tree in New Braunfels, Texas in February and get Rebate!

   For February, New Braunfels Utilities is offering customers a double rebate for planting a drought tolerant tree!  Just when you thought living in New Braunfels couldn't get any better!  

The tree must me listed on the approved drought tolerant list found on the Rebate Application form and be at least 5 gallon size or larger.  The purchase must be made within the month of February and tree planted within 15 days.    You can find out more about this awesome rebate and what it takes to qualify by going the NBU rebate web page at NBU Drought Tolerant Tree Rebate.  What a great way to conserve energy costs and beautify your property at the same time.

 

There are several other great rebates offered by NBU, here are a few of the other Water Conservation Rebates:

  • Toilet Rebate- High Efficiency 1.28 GPF WaterSense labeled toilets 
  • Washing Machine Rebate- Ultra High Efficiency Tier 3 washers per the Consortium for Energy Efficiency
  • Rain BarrelSave on water and sewer fees by collecting rainwater and reusing at a later time
  • Turf Replacement- Receive a credit for removing turf and replacing it with a drought tolerant alternative
  • Drought Tolerant Landscape- Get money back when converting to drought tolerant landscaping
  • Permeable Patio -Rebate for installing a permeable patio
  • Mulch- Receive a rebate of $12.50 per cubic yard of mulch installed
