How to See Murrieta CA Neighborhoods As If on VIDEO -- Copper Canyon

Working on a series of videos showing the neighborhoods in the city of Murrieta, California, I was googling around trying to get some ideas of vantage points and realized that Google maps does a fantastic job as quasi-video, if we could link you to the right ones to describe the respective neighborhoods.  Throw in the Price range of the homes in that month, and an Active-Pending-Sold chart, and you'd have a good idea of what homes for sale in that neighborhood look like.

Here are the steps to make Google maps a quasi-video of the neighborhood you're looking at:

• In the lower left of the map, click the Earth view, so you see an overhead photo of all the houses, etc.,
• Find a spot on the map where you'd like to be on the street and click it, and a Street View photo will pop up in the upper left of your screen, 
• Click the Street View picture, and it will zoom you to the street view, where you can click farther along the street to move the view and, to the bottom right of your screen, click the + or - buttons to zoom in or out, or click the arrows on the "rotate view" button to turn the respective ways.  Here's what the "rotate view" button looks like, to zoom closer or zoom out, or to turn the view left or right: 

Let's begin with a neighborhood that we love to cover because it has so much of what Murrieta is all about: lovely homes on quiet, tree-lined streets in master-planned communities with low or no HOA, set against dramatic views of the hills of the Santa Rosa Plateau to the west, and the Temecula valley views to the east.

Here is the Google map of Copper Canyon near Cole Canyon Elementary.  You can see the street view pictures at the bottom of the page, and as you hover your mouse over any picture, Google maps now DRAWS A LINE to the location where that photo was taken on the map!  It's awesome! 

The screenshot above is Google maps centered on Calle De Oso Oro and shows the map and point out some areas of interest:

1.  Cole Canyon Elementary (click that link to center on Cole Canyon)

2.  Copper Canyon Park -- this is actually away down the hill from Cole Canyon, which you'll see if the intersection of Via Alisol and the park's entrance road (near where I've put the big "2") and then, click on the entrance road to get you down there to the park, and, last, click on "Street View" to look around the park.

3.  Grizzly Ridge Park -- a friend and I usually include this in our walks around the Copper Canyon neighborhoods from my friend's home on one of these lovely streets.
