Hello Lenn ... I love your post and believe it or not, I use to have dream journals. And when ever a real life situation starts running similar to my dream, I jump at the opportunity and my dream would actually come true.
And when it comes to dreams and aspirations, well they have been taking place also. So that being said, Vegas Bob is into dreams

Jon. I made that comment because over the years, I've spoken to many agents who were involved in real estate transactions, but say that they are retired.
My idea of retired is sitting by a lake with a line in the water.
I know. But it is the fate of many immigrants that come after 40, who do not build enough their Social Security, and have to think of some income besides the Social Security. We are case in point. To sustain a condo on the ocean, even the one we bought for less than $200K, is still $800 a month, and there is no way Social Security payment would cover housing and additional cost of living (medical, food). Plus condos always come with a surprise Special Assessment. Of course, there is an option to seriously downsize, but how more down can we go from a 2 bedroom unit anyway? With the prices up, we would not benefit. This is the reason my idea of retirement is sitting at the water only half of the day :)

The great thing about real estate sales is that there is really no age barrier as long as we can do the job.
We are, after all, self employed and just as any business owner, can work until we chose to retire.

My dreams, the sleeping kind are very productive. I sort out problems and come up with solutions for the next day. And I also get to rest while doing it.
