Using Copywrited Material in Your Posts

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker

One of the warnings that comes up after you hit post is about he use of copyrighted material.  That doesn't mean you can not use it, just that you need the proper positions.

I believe in humor and try to inject some in things I do, although those who worked for me in my former career may question that statement.  As I ran across a cartoon that struck me funny, I thought it would be a great illustration to emphasis a point.  I researched the people who had the material copyrighted and found them very easy and reasonable to deal with.

The company is called The Permissions Group, their fees are reasonable and response is fast.  Do yourself a favor and keep out of blog jail.

The following are links to their material on these links .You can preview photos and articles on http://www.mctdirect.com/.  Comics on http://www.comicspage.com/. Tribune Media Services articles on http://www.featureserv.com/.

Good luck, great posts.

Hi Tom,

We can never hear this enough.  There are some out there that say even if we take an article or two and plagurize we may still be liable.  I know when blogging, if I quote someone I always use that persons name.  Just be careful!
