Items to freshen-up the home space

In the Winter we keep the windows and doors closed,

so as to keep the warmth in and not let the cold air in.

Many homes today, especially condo units are

energy-efficient ‘sealed’ spaces.

So, people buy items to freshen-up the air in the space.

Some of these items may give-off a chemical smell.

However, some houseplants are efficient air purifiers

and also reduce or eliminate the chemical smell in the space. Examples of these are Aloe Vera, Areca Palm and Boston Fern.

Another source of natural air purifiers are herbs.

Examples are Rosemary, Jasmine and Lavender.

Lavendar

So, what is your choice to freshen-up the home space?

Hi Rosalind, I think I'd go with the jasmine or lavendar.  I'd really like to have these type of plants, but it helps to have a green thumb.  Many wouldn't survive my place:)

Rosalind, great idea, and never thought of the lavender plants!   I like to make homemade chicken soup, it makes the whole house smell wonderful!

Yes Michael, a green thumb helps ....... also, all plants need light, even indoor plants.
