Do You Believe In Witches?
Yes, I know it not Halloween! I am not talking about those witches.
I am talking about water witches.
Today I was at a home inspection at my beautiful pending property
White Hall, Maryland.
The owners shared how their well driller hired a water witch when it was time to dig their well.
We don't know the origin of divining or dowsing or witching but we do know that it is practiced all over the world.
Even though there is scientific ridicule, water witches still do business today.
Some people say the twig has to be from a freshly cut peach tree, others say a length of grapevine or branch from a live oak.
There are different ways of holding the branch..thumbs up, palms down, thumbs in and the forked stick pointed toward the ground.
Who knows the right way?
Not everyone can witch for water. It works for some who have the gift. Do you know anyone who witches for water?
