Chief Cook is a little short on one end. She doesn’t know which end, and, of course, I can't venture a guess without getting into some sort of trouble.
She is always hauling chairs around to get into the cupboards whose height eludes her. She ALWAYS needs something on the second shelf. Can you imagine? And the third shelf might as well be the moon.
Nevertheless, having watched her for twenty-five-some years playing this act out, I finally decided to help her out. She now has a bench with storage that can accommodate her quests into the altitudes.....or as we say, the heavenly multitudes.
Here is my latest project....
The bench opens to show the storage. You could put tools, or aluminum foil, parchment paper (I guess), or ziploc bags in here. We store the kitchen scissors, the screwdrivers and hammer in there.
I only have time to make quick projects because it is still so cold out, but these take very little time, and can be painted in the basement, if necessary.
Best, Ron
