By noontime today some much needed rain is expected to begin to hit San Francisco, making it's way down the Peninsula and into Silicon Valley.
Yes, I listen to the weather forecast, but it confirm it with a look out my window. Here are a couple of shots early this morning.

Northern Virginia suffered drought conditions about 3-4 years ago. I lost about 30% of my landscaping.
