Check out this site to see if your state is safeguarding any money for you. It is known as The National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators. Also known as NAUPA. You can visit this site enter your state type a little info and poof you can find out if the State owes you money. It's free and easy to do. You'll find yourself entering names of friends and family and once you hit on one of them you will be on the phone sharing. We actually discovered an old savings account of mine from 1968 that had been turned over to the state. It was only $120.00 but hey it was free money. Enjoy
