Sacramento's Much Needed Storms

Real Estate Agent with GreatWest Realty DRE# 00827565

It's no secret California has needed rain to bring us out of drought.  After a completely dry January here in Sacramento, we were finally blessed with heavy rains ushered in by a "Pineapple Express" from the Hawaiian Islands.  At one point on Sunday, I sat on my couch looking out the sliding glass door.  It was a relief to watch the skies as they poured rain. By late afternoon, a lull in the storms appeared.  A huge rainbow, pictured below, appeared overhead. When I turned the camera direction 180 degrees, I found trees making silhouette against a golden sky.

Stunning Myrl, and I do hope you get the rain you need, just not the torrents that seem to happen, to lessen the drought out there.

Robert (Bob) Gilbert - It truly was wonderful!  And, every raindrop was welcome and needed!

Patricia Feager, MBA, GRI, Cert Negotiations Expert, Military Relo Prof  - The oranges ought to be fine.  The crop from last year has been mostly harvested. And, the trees haven't yet began to flower for this year!

Barbara-Jo Roberts Berberi, MA, TRC - Greater Clearwater Florida Residential Real Estate Professional - For the most part the Pineapple Express brought far more good than harm!

Bob Ratliff, Broker Associate - REALTOR® 512-587-5689 - I'm glad you liked it!

I'm glad the Pineapple Express showed mercy and headed up north, without making Sacramento a storm threat on Sunday. We got rain, though, which we really need. I was worried it would blow away my patio table, which we just uncovered. I love your rainbow photo, Myrl, and wish I could sit and look at rainbows all day long but hey, back to work.

What gorgeous photos again, Myrl.  And, I have read that this is the worst drought in California for 1,200 years.  Amazing.  Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain.

I'm surprised of how much rain we have this winter. Last season it was maybe 3 rains, but this year~ I just love it. And.... I save a lot of money on not watering my grass:)
