The year 2015 has started and the inital sales figures for the month of January in terms of volume is typically low. The weather in the Bay Area is mild (no snow, of course) but the cities have been drenched by successive storms; a nice respite from the statewide drought. The homeowners are not in a hurry to sell their homes at this time after big holiday spending spree in December, or for that matter the last quarter of the year 2014.
The Bay East market report for the City of San Leandro Detached Single-Family Homes for the period ending January 2015 reveals that the Median Sales Price is $456,000.

However, the data from National Association of Realtors or Realtors Property Resource states that the Median Estimated Home Value for Cherrywood Subdivision is $568,000; for the City of San Leandro is $458,000; and for Alameda County is $607,000.
Come to San Leandro - a very nice place to live it.
