Thoughts on planting fruit trees... How close should different varieties or fruits be planted to each other.

Sounds like I can look forward to a few interesting calls from firefox scammers, I wonder if they are the same guys who called offering to fix my system for microsoft.

Ron agree on your scam issue.  I run into many these days and never give money or any type of personal or account info over the phone.  As to plants, how long will a pine tree survive after being pushed on its side and buried in 4' of snow?  I suspect I will need to dig it out and ties or stake it.

What types of plants do NOT attract bumble bees?

Since we keep bees, I would like suggestions for bee friendly plants that can tolerate benign neglect (no green thumb here) which grow well in a shady area (we are surrounded by lots of trees).  If they bloom and are pretty, that would be a plus.  Also, how about plants that are beneficial for chickens?  Something they would enjoy eating that would also be good for them?

You answered my question last time which I appeciate...I will try to think of more!

Good morning Ron. Not to worry, as long as you and your computer are all well. I wonder what I can plant that will be good with little or no water. I want a buffer from my neighbor on one side.

Unfortunately John's Mom got scammed by a caller saying her computer was in jeopardy. He had warned her countless times to hang up in this event.  Her computer was taken over costing her a lot of stress and money. 

Hi Ron,  I look forward to reading more in this series.  It is always nice to have an expert gardner in my list of resources.  Sadly, we can't plant anything until Mother's Day but I am already planning.

Ron, I'm with William about the radishes...I have the same problem, lots of greens, no radish...BUT, I did discover that the small leaves are quite tasty in a salad...Enjoy your day!

Here's my question, when is the best time to spray fruit trees? Our insects will eat them alive and destroy the leaves too.
