Mark - I do believe that luck plays a part in many things. Glad you were finally lucky enough to get someone to down that dead tree.
Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint ~ they say it's better to be lucky versus good, and there's a ton of truth to that saying... With that said, it's a real blessing when you are both lucky & good, as you are![]()
Mark Don, I am so glad that you finally got that taken care of....and that you finally found a real professional, too!
Glad you got that worked out, Don. Of course, you could've just started cutting that thing at the base to see how much luck you really had!
John Meussner I have taken more than my fair share of trees down. This on just had NO WHERE to go. I was pretty impressed with this guy and dropping it in such a small area. Mark
Hi Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint I'd say that you were very lucky to get that tree down before it destroyed both houses....and lucky it was done properly....
I'm glad it didn't go down in the windstorm. Now it's being taken care of and it will be out of the way. That's a good thing.
Mark - Several years ago, I wanted to get my front yard tree pruned. I had worried about one exceptionally large limb hanging over my house. Before, I could arrange to have it done, a really strong rain and wind storm came up, and snapped the limb off, even with the trunk. The prevailing winds were such that the limb missed the house by mere inches. I am convinced that behind those clouds the moon was full, and the stars were aligned. Luck truly can be a factor!
Myrl Jeffcoat oh so lucky to wake up to that blessing. Debbie Laity it is a huge weight off my shoulders. Every time I drove in or a rain storm it wore on me. Barbara Todaro sometimes we make, sometimes it adds to and sometimes it is just there all by itself...luck. Suzanne McLaughlin he is definitely now in my referral book for anyone needing that service. Jon Kolsky thank you.
Thank you all for stopping by and commenting. Make it a fun Friday the 13th.
Troy Erickson and Belinda Spillman this was a bigger relief to me than I can even try to tell anyone. Not the damage part. But their were families in there. Could not just let anyone do it and maybe have them with no where to live and every gust of wind had me cringing. Alls well...on to the next project. Make it a great Friday the 13th. Mark
Good morning Mark. I have a tenant that is in the tree business. I have seen him take down some trees, it seemed like a surgeon and yes sometimes being lucky is just what is needed.
Sometimes the only way to see who is honest and who isnt' is to call...and see who shows up and gets it done.
Now you KNOW who to call next time.
Wow. I can't believe that guy is up so high. You were smart to stay after this. It could have caused quite a problem in the next windstorm.
