1. See a Movie! All the rave for the new movie 50 Shades of Gray....Mann Theatres in Champlin will be running shows this evening for a late night showing. If you're not into this particular movie, all Champlin Mann Theatre times and showings can be viewed by clicking the link:

2. Dinner at Ginza! In this weeks Metro Super Saver, there's a Valentine's Day Special, Hibachi Filet Mignon & Lobster for 2 $45.95 (Includes a glass of wine or bottled beer!) I would probably check into reservations ~ 763-421-0268

3. Dave & Buster's Game Night! This is perfect for an entire family Valentine's outing. Spend the evening having drinks, playing games, and enjoying a little dinner. I didn't find any specials specific to Valentine's Day, but the best deal seemed to be the eat and play combo. Click the link for full details.

4. Shen Yun! A production featuring classical Chinese dance. This exhilarating performance features over 400 sets of costumes, Chinese dance and music, and inspiring history of Chinese civilization. This show is present by the Hennepin Theatre Trust, The Orpheum in Downtown Minneapolis, tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster, here. This show is currently running til February 16th.

5. The Herkimer ~ Cupid is Stupid Party! Not feeling the love? No problem, I have something for you too! The Herkimer in downtown Minneapolis is offering drink specials for the Cupid is Stupid Party.

6. Free & Easy ~ Ice Skating at the local Parks! One of the best parts of living in Champlin is all the parks! Many of the ice rinks are freshly cleared and perfect for an evening of holding hands and ice skating. Then maybe head to one of these other suggestions to warm up!

7. Bowling! Brunswick Zone in Brooklyn Park is open tonight for bowling. Again, fun for all ages or just a date night perfect for a group of couples or singles interested in a night filled with laughs. Other local bowling, Earle Brown, Brooklyn Center ~Keeping a little more local is Anoka's Superbowl, which also offers Karaoke on Saturday nights.

8. Snow Tubing! Fun and family friendly! A great way to get out of the house and enjoy Valentine's Day with the family sledding at Elm Creek Park Reserve. If you like sledding, you’ll love snow tubing. Ride a moving sidewalk up a hill 10 stories high and then soar back down on a specially designed inner tube. Once you get to the bottom, do it all over again!

Tubers of all ages will have a blast speeding down the chutes. There are steeper chutes for the more daring and easier chutes for those looking for a more laid-back ride. All of our tubing lanes are designed for safety and fun. It’s an activity the whole family can enjoy. 9. Get Crafty! Color Me Mine in Maple Grove offers a fun night or day of making crafty pottery projects, and painting them. This is another family friendly event, or meet the girls and follow it up with wine at TGIF Friday's! 

10. Crafty Adults Only! Get Crafty with The Craft Bar & Lounge! The Craft Bar and Lounge is a great area to network, enjoy a bite to eat, grab a drink and relax. Kelber Catering has created an exclusive menu for the Craft Bar and Lounge. The menu includes flavor packed Naan Pizzas, gourmet Sliders, Sweet Chili Pork Wings and several other fantastic options. We have also collaborated with the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild to help build our local beer offerings. The Craft Bar and Lounge will be featuring some of Minnesota’s best brews on a rotating basis from Surly, Lift Bridge, Big Wood and many more!

The Craft Bar and Lounge is located in the main lobby of the Minneapolis Convention Center on the Balcony of the Visitor Information Center.
