The Sixth Annual German Dinner, Hanover MN, February 28, 2015

 

This is a really great event sponsored by the people who bring us the Hanover Festival each year. 

 

The proceeds from this even will help to pay for the Fireworks Display.

 

If you like German food, and even if you don’t, there is something for everyone.  It will be held at City Hall from 4 to 7 pm and the menu includes Beer Stube (German sausage, Grandma Wagner’s potato salad, Spaetzle, dinner rolls, German chocolate cake, milk, water and coffee.  Hotdogs are also available (while they last!).  Adults are $8 and kids are $5, with smaller portions. 

 

Extras include Beer and soda from the Hanover Lions.

Hope to see you there.  This will be fun because there is not only the food, but table service, a silent auction and live music by the Jolly Jammers, too.

That sounds delicious and the cost is so affordable. They have included everything that will make it a full meal and nobody should go away hungry.

Hi Ron -- difficult to find many German restaurants in our area and I haven't been to the one I remember well(Red Lion Tavern in Los Angeles) has a long tradition.   Good hearty food sounds perfect for a Minnesota winter meal.

Ron, I'm not sure if Grandma Wagner's potato salad is hot German potato salad but that is one dish that is hard to beat!  Hope you have great weather for this at the end of the month!
