Here Comes The Sun

El Paso Electric is with it. I can't believe it has taken until 2015.

El Paso Electric is ready to flip the switch in Northeast El Paso on their new solar energy plant. The plant will produce 10 Megawatts. That's enough power for 3800 homes.

In a city where the temperature yesterday (Feb 16th) was 72 degrees with beautiful sunshine it just makes sense that we would take advantage of the natural resources available to us.

Every building in El Paso should have solar panels. Every covered parking space should have solar panels.

Fort Bliss is in the process of retrofitting their buildings to include base housing with solar panels and they are working on becoming a totally self reliant energy consumer.

El Paso should have the same goal. To harness the true power of the sun and to make the "Sun City" an energy efficiency giant in the world.

If you are interested in finding out how you can take advantage of the energy efficient resources available to you as a home buyer. Give me a call. I hold the Green Designation from the National Association of REALTORS® and I am ready to help you find your "green" home today.

Good morning Rick Snow - Selling El Paso TX

Good information!  New Mexico is utilizing the sun and wind as well. With so many long days of sun it only makes sense to jump on board.

This is good news. I hope other cities will also introduce solar energy.
