It's Cold in the Northeast

By
Real Estate Agent with President, Newtown Board of Realtors RES.0797458

We are experiencing record lows here in the northeast(and a lot of other places too) and its important to be prepared.

The obvious is what our mothers told us, dress warm and don't forget your hat and gloves, but there are a few other things that shouldn't be over looked.

How is your car? Make sure your battery is good, and I never let my gas tank get below half in this weather.

Make sure your Cell phone is charged,  battery's don't like the cold. And keep an extra charger with you.

Leave the heat on at least 65 degrees in your house, especially when it is windy. That will help prevent pipes from freezing.

Keep your door ways and paths clear from snow.

And how about those vacant listings? Maybe we should stop by a little more often, and it wouldn't hurt to find the water shut off valve and turn it off until its warmer out.

Stay Warm

Good morning David,

Sound advice everyone should heed.

Today could be cold for most of the country!

Make yourself a great day.
