Need a Friend?  Adopt a Pet!  Think of All the Good It Will Do Both of You!

 

All of our pets came from somewhere before they landed here with the exception of the original Buzz and Lefty, who came with the house, having been abandoned here by their former “owners.”

They have all been great pets, including the three who are still with us, but the original pets still have their hold on our hearts as the best of the bunch.

 

There are many agencies here in Wright County, and I am sure there are in your area as well. 

 

We prefer to volunteer and donate to the no-kill shelters, but you may feel differently, or don’t have an option.  Whatever you decide is right for you.

 

Just make sure you can take care of a pet, and that you will give it the love and care it needs to thrive, not just survive, and I can guarantee you will have more love than you can handle!

 

And, be sure to spay and neuter your pets, if that hasn’t already been done!

Ron Marshall I couldn't imagine not having a pet.  There are so many ways to donate to your local shelters.  What a great post!

Ron, We support the no kill shelters and the dog we share is from a shelter. Duke does not like me as my voice must remind him of the owner9s) who use to beat him. Adopting a dog or cat is the way to go if possible.

Robert (Bob) Gilbert Thanks for that comment.  Of course, we support adoption through rescue groups and shelters.  There are so many dogs who need good homes.  And, cats, and birds, and rabbits, and iguanas, and. etc!
