Business Books That Might Help You Sell in Real Estate!
I wanted to tell you about two of my favorite business books that I have been rereading lately.
The first is “Getting to Yes – Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In” by Roger Fisher and William Ury. The best thing about this book is that is gives you the parameters of “winning” while not creating animosity from the person on the other side of your “problem” or “issue”. And, it illustrates how to work TOGETHER with all sides to get an issue settled for the greater good. I would recommend this to any real estate agent, and, especially, to brokers.
The other book is “Never Be Lied to Again” by David J. Lieberman, Ph.D. I like this one because it gives you several ways to get to the truth of the matter, even with habitual liars. And, I am not saying that everyone lies for profit. Some people lie to spare your feelings, to get out of an uncomfortable situation. Sometimes they lie to make themselves look better. But, this book will give you the tools to find out.
Either one can be ordered from a public library, but you might want to have them on hand for refresher courses as I am doing.
