ListHub Clamps Down On Trulia!

Ernest - We got notice recently from our MLS that there is a change in our syndication as well.  It's all in turmoil.

Ernest - This is interesting data for sure. I am wondering how this will all play out in the end, but I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Thanks for directing me to this post. Things are changing as rapidly in online RE as they are in the World scene. PHEW! It's hard to keep up with all that's going on in the World today.

I don't know how this will play out but if Listhub went away, that would be fine with me. I wrote a review about Listhub. I wanted to rate it zero or a negative number of stars but the review system would not let me do it. Here is a copy of what I wrote in the review.

Our MLS syndicates everything to Listhub unless we indicate not to do that. Listhub feeds to almost all of the search sites. Eighty to ninety percent of my listings do not have addresses and usually not even a road name. Our FlexMLS system has a provision to geolocate my listings to a specific point on a map. To do this I have to read the shapes of the dirt roads in the satellite photos. I have had as many as 60 listings at a time that need this treatment. This method works fine as long as the properties are shown from within our FlexMLS. However as soon as my listing data is passed into Listhub, the relocation of my listings to their proper position is LOST. Listhub apparently positions them in the center of the zip code or in the center of the town. The problem is that Listhub then feeds to the syndicated search sites and ALL my special positioning is lost for every syndicated search site. The Review site is BROKEN. It would not let me submit with ZERO or negative stars.

I do not know if the addresses will be treated any better by Zillow and Trulia.

I knew there was something going on, but not the details. 

Ernest, our local Denver MLS cut off both Z & T from the listing feed too.  They will not sign an agreement to remove listings once they go UC.
