If there’s one thing I really appreciate about the internet is the vast amount of information we have available at our fingertips. I cant imagine the time when the main resources for political information was only newspapers and mainstream news shows.
These days I find myself spending a good thirty minutes or more a day signing various online petitions to try to convey a collective message to politicians. Some days it’s a tedious process and I wonder if they are effective. But every so often they do post updates to petitions and those are really satisfying to read about and know I helped accomplish a goal.

Petition to Obama to make secret trade agreements (TPP) public.
NFL should not be a non profit.
Register your business supporting a move to increase solar power.
Tell senate not to overturn Obama veto of the Keystone pipeline.
This is to overturn Citizens United and reduce the influence of corporate money in politics.
Ask congress to stop looking at reducing social security and disability benefits.
Protest a House approved bill that speeds up approval process for fracking export facilities.
End the use of wild animals in traveling circuses and exhibitions in the US.
By the Humane Society; Ask Chinese government to ban the import of wild-caught baby elephants.
