The Ballard Street Cafe has been a staple in Historic Downtown Wylie for years.  They serve an amazing breakfast all day, every day. Their lunch menu is great too.  You can get a burger, sandwich, salad, or even a chicken fried steak or pork chop.  Sides include awesome onion rings, fries, as well as fried mozzerella and fried mushrooms.  My office is located nearby and they will deliver food to local businesses during lunch (which is a bonus for an office full of busy Realtors).  If you stop by for dinner you can expect to find one of my favorite items - the Mushroom Swiss Chicken Breast.  They also have everyhing from a veggie plate to grilled meatloaf to chicken fried pork loin.  Unfortunately, I can never seem to save enough room to try their amazing-looking desserts!  Regardless of when you go, make sure to get there early, as you may have to wait for a table in this quaint historic home located at the North end of Historic Downtown Wylie.
