Ice Cream Sale in Moose River Minnesota

I didn’t get my camera out in time to snap a pick of the guy carrying out a box full of ice cream cones at McDonalds, but it did get my attention.

It caught my attention because my first thought was, only in Wisconsin, or Minnesota would people be buying ice cream on a day that was in the negative temperature neighborhood.

So we ventured inside for our break from a 12 hour trip to International Falls.

And the first sign on the wall explained why, an ice cream sale that others could not pass up, and neither could Nick.

Ice Cream will actually warm you up from the inside out.  When your innards get to cold it turns on your internal heater to warm you back up, from the inside out.

Bob - I have to say that I would still go for ice cream in sub zero weather.  I would come in and warm up first.
