What’s New at the 2015 Home and Garden Show
There are two new features at the 2015 Home and Garden Show: the Spring Boutique and the upcycler designer rooms. Open Friday, February 27 to March 1, the Spring Boutique features 36 vendor booths. Discover great ideas and products to spruce up your home or landscape once the snow melts.
The upcycler designers rooms are also new for 2015. Designer Carter Averbeck is an expert at taking items that have lost their shine and transforming them into functional, funky décor. Get inspiration for your next do-it-yourself project.
Old Standbys Get a Fresh Look
Three of the expo’s most popular features will be back on display in 2015. This year’s theme for the idea home is active living. Built by the Viebrock Construction, the home showcases efficient, sustainable products and design. Coach potatoes and fitness geeks alike should be able to find something to inspire them.
The feature gardens are back to get you looking forward to spring. Nine different landscapers offer fresh ideas on how to design your outdoor living space. After perusing the gardens, take a stroll down Innovation Avenue. You’ll find the latest technology in home, décor, and outdoor living. Get ideas for upgrades to a home you’re buying or selling.
Celebrity Guests and Contests
Spy your favorite TV and design celebrity at the Minneapolis Home and Garden Show. Five of the big names include Ty Pennington of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge from The Fabulous Beekman Boys, Sasha Andreev of Decorating Cents and Curb Appeal, Ramsin Khachi of Canada’s The Marilyn Denis Show, and Jaque Bethke of the award-winning PURE Design Environments.
At the Home and Garden Show, you’ll have the chance to walk away with more than some great design ideas.
